Comparing municipal wastewater, industrial wastewater is more complicated, because it’s come from widely range, say, textile wastewater, pigment and dyeing wastewater, slaughter wastewater, pharmacy wastewater, metallurgy wastewater, tannery wastewater, chemical wastwater etc... And for industrial wastewater always content toxic elements, such as, heavy metal, acid, alkali , etc., thus the treatment method is more strict required.
On base of our rich experience, membrane filter press is the first choice for such sledges. Membrane filter press is features of secondary cake squeezing, so the final filter press cake moisture is much lower than chamber filter press, that’s also why membrane filter press always is regarded as sludge dewatering filter press.
The filter plates of membrane type filter press consists of two kinds filter plates: membrane filter plate (whose surface is flat) and chamber plate (which as depth for filter cake storage). The filtering process as following. Under the pressure of feeding pump, material is pumped into filter chamber, solid and liquid are separated by filter medium (filter cloth). After filter cakes formed, the compressed air will be blown into the membrane plate and inflate it to squeeze cake, thus realize lower moisture. Membrane filter press specially applies to viscous material and users who require a strict cake dryness.
Filter plates are made from reinforced PP by mould pressing. Membranes are recessed with PP plates integrally. They are firm and steady, not easy to fall off, and enjoy long service life.

However, sludge filter press is not always refers to membrane filter press, for example: stone cutting wastewater, concrete wastewater, sand washing washing waster water, mining tailings etc... For such wastewater will be easier to deal with, and normal chamber filter press can meet the dewatering demand.
