Façade mesh is a specially woven glass fiber mesh with alkali resistive coating. The features of glass fiber are non-organic, high tensile strength, deformation resistant, etc. and the coating creates a firm coverage and overall protection to the façade mesh, and prevent the acid material from entering the façade mesh inside and compromising the internal structure of woven glass fiber mesh. Therefore, façade mesh can remain strong mechanical strength inside the basecoat, concrete, mortar, plastering layer, etc. By using façade mesh, the problem of cracks on the façade which is caused by the temperature change can be eliminated. Furthermore, it’s light weight and soft, so it can be used in the structures’ facade with multiple different shapes, where metal wire mesh are not flexible enough to apply. Comparing to wire mesh, fiberglass façade mesh is much more economic and the durability is better as well.
